Haverford Township Economic Development Committee

The Haverford Township Board of Commissioners solidified their commitment to business district revitalization efforts by forming an Economic Development Committee in January 2015. HPED board member and 2nd Ward Commissioner Mario Oliva is serving as liaison between the HPED and the newly formed committee. The committee is comprised of fellow commissioners Andy Lewis, Larry Holmes and Bill Wechsler.

Haverford Township's newly elected committee is working with the board of the HPED to enhance the business climate. The township and the HPED have been supporting beautification projects which are designed to enhance our business districts throughout the township. Our comprehensive plan also addresses existing business revitalization efforts by targeting various grants designed to enhance our current districts appeal and walkability.
